TEARFUL Theresa May today finally admitted her time was up and quit as Prime Minister insisting: "I've done my best".
The PM was forced to resign after she failed to deliver Brexit and lost the support of her own MPs - but will continue in office as a lame duck until July.
Shortly after meeting Tory "executioner" Sir Graham Brady, she addressed the nation in the spring sunshine of Downing Street - watched by adoring husband Philip - and admitted her time is up.
The PM confessed she now has no chance of ever getting her Brexit deal through Parliament but insisted "I have done my best" to deliver on the referendum result.

My question for her would be How could you be so stupid for so long?
She did the job she was put in to do - block Brexit and kick the can down the road.
Ive done my best......to thwart the will of the people, do the bidding of my Yurp masters and foist on the UK a humiliating surrender treaty that would give away Britains national sovereignty making it a colony of the EU forevermore.
At least if she were being completely honest thats what shed say.
apparently a spoof but funny nonetheless

‘I’ve done my best’.
I believe her.
Now it’s time for a man to be in charge.
May is also gone because of Spygate.
Can’t serve two masters. Voters voted for brexit, but the EU slavers had her by the neck.
Oh yes, because that automatically means success.
Fake.
Maggie Thatcher she most definitely is not.
I think so too. Good riddance.
Certain elites in the UK do because of the significance of certain military and economic relationships that are crucial.
She “negotiated” a BRINO (Brexit in Name Only) with her EU comrades to whom May gave her loyalty. She shared their attitude that a deal had to leave EU without really leaving and that was plainly offensive to those who voted to just leave.
A soft Brexit could end up worst of all, if it is nearly on the terms May was pushing.
Every time I go to Germany I get unsolicited opinions on what the US should do and who should be President by foreigner strangers who assume I care what they think. If it is so uninteresting to them, why were the Brits helping Obuttmunch and spying on Trump in the first place? I suspect the U.K. involvement was much more robust than we have been told.
