Our poor suffer from the diseases of obesity!
So its pure BS that people go hungry here due to want.
They might go hungry because they’re on crack or other drugs but they do not go hungry for want!

All of these democratic party candidates for president, are trying to out-stupid each other with their promises, none of which they can keep.

But, they are playing for the stupid votes, so, stupid is as stupid does.

Michael Bennet should be in prison with the rest of his co-conspirators in CONgre$$...

https://www.usdebtclock.org

...his assets should be confiscated. Looting the republic of The United States of America. Relegating the citizens and future generations to debt slavery.

Michael Bennet said Monday he wants to commit $1 trillion ... to address climate change

Hey, if he has that kind of money, more power to him.

What's that? You mean it's taxpayer money? Oh. Then it's easy to be generous.

Why not a googolplex, while we’re throwing around imaginary money?

Does he have $1 trillion? If he does then he can donate it and do all the research he wants to do. If he doesn’t he needs to STFU.

You forgot about nuclear. It’s far cheaper than all the alternatives except hydro and is most definitely zero emission. It is especially more cost-effective than wind and solar.

In the case you didn’t know it already, 90% of France’s electricity comes from nuclear and they have the lowest overall carbon emissions of any western country.

The fact that libs won’t endorse using nuclear is proof positive that climate change is about politics and emotion and not about facts.

Since the article spoke of zero emissions without limiting that to carbon, I excluded nuclear because of its vast emissions of waste heat and radiation. Mining and refining the fuel, then the transporting and disposal of near-eternal radioactive waste also generate emissions. France stockpiles nuclear waste, then ships it some around the world to dump in Polynesia.

Fears of nuclear power generation are definitely driven by emotion, since fossil-fuel burning has many if the same downsides. I’d only quibble on the motives of the Left to add GREED. Some of them have positioned themselves to profit massively by brokering “credits” and other non-existence “goods” that can only be created by politics.

What’s going on with thorium-fueled pebble-bed reactors? At one point this seemed a promising technology, with much reduced danger, easier waste disposal, ability to work in smaller units, etc.

Our poor suffer from the diseases of obesity!

How many fat, fixed income, poor, elderly have you seen lately?

You don't have to be in the ghetto and fat to be poor.
