Wasnt he a tea partier at some point, with some freepers talking him up as some great conservative hope? <<
Yep, Amash screamed "TEA PARTYYYYYYYYYY!!!!" at the top of his lungs and we were accused of being part of the "GOPE" and the "Deep state" if we question this lunatic's alleged "true conservative" credentials. When an actual conservative tried to primary Amash in the pre-Trump era, he was smeared on FR as a puppet of "the establishment".
The biggest irony is the "we must ALWAYS stand with Israel NO MATTER WHAT" crowd sucked up to this Jew-loathing, Israel-bashing, HAMAS apologist. Apparently this rule contains a "unless your name is Justin Amash" clause.

I think he is an antisemite and I am certain he is anti-Israel. I know the crowd from which he came.

Imp was right when he opposed Amash in that primary back 8 or 10 years ago.
