As a former geology major, it would be like heaven living there. Especially if I had the money to build my Frank Lloyd Wright (Falling Waters)-type dream house there.
I also used to paint "Hudson River School"-landscapes back in my 1980s college days. And that would be another reason why I would enjoy and appreciate it there.
We have somepretty nice mountains and scenery here in New York, too. Upstate, NY. The Catskills and Finger Lakes regions are the two I'm most familiar with.
