FULL TITLE: Dagen McDowell: Obama-era FBI, DOJ officials 'worried' what Barr's review into Russia probe could find
Are Obama-era intelligence officials worried about what Attorney General William Barr's investigation Ito the origins of the Russia probe will find?
Fox Business' Dagen McDowell believes they are, and said that is why some Democrats are questioning Barr's motives.
"They are trying to discredit him because they are worried, people who worked in the Obama administration, in the FBI and in the CIA and the intelligence community, they are worried. Whether it's Brennan or Comey or even subordinates of both of them. They are worried about what Bill Barr and John Durham and the Inspector General Michael Horowitz are going to find," McDowell said while co-hosting "The Five."
On Monday, multiple outlets reported that Barr had appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham to examine the origins of the Russia investigation
A person familiar with the process told Fox News Tuesday that Durham has been working on his review “for weeks,” to probe "all intelligence collection activities" related to the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.
The Russia investigation and Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report continue to be debated by Republicans and Democrats since its release last month.
In an interview that aired on Fox News Thursday, Barr explained that he is trying to get to the bottom of whether or not “government officials abused their power and put their thumb on the scale” during the early stages of the Russia probe.
McDowell also said Americans deserve to know the truth.
"[According to a Fox News poll released Thursday] a majority, 58 percent think it's at least somewhat likely the FBI broke the law when it started investigating the Trump campaign," McDowell said.
"They deserve answers. There is nothing wrong with a thorough look...

They are worried that they will have a choice of jail or spilling their guts on Zero and Cankles.
Yep...they’re worried that THE TRUTH will be found. And it will be!
I think they’re especially worried about the other things that will be uncovered about their cabal while the “Russian collusion” investigation goes on.

Spygate is now taking on a life of its own. It can't be put away any more... that's what they tried (and failed) to do over the last several years.
I think Barr will see this as his last battle and will do the honorable thing and follow through.
You can smell the fear, and it's coming from those who should be afraid.
So, reporting on what a reporter says has become news.

Once the heat starts building, their best strategy will be to blame the ones at the top that gave the orders. Right now they are beginning to blame each other but that is just an interim step.
There’s another option. Let them RESIGN their positions with no threat of prosecution unless they tell EVERYTHING first. Those that want to fight are free to do so.
Problem is, most of the worst ones are already out of their positions and out of government. Maybe the threat should be that unless they tell everything they lose their pensions and health benefits, plus Brennan and Clapper have to pay back all the money that CNN/MSNBC ever paid them for spending 2+ years lying on their channels. And all of these characters forfeit all money they made on their lying books.

That will be part of it but people are going to jail.
If justice is not served there will be a next time and next time will make this time seem like child’s play. When they are ready, they’ll do it again and they’ll go full Stalin on our asses.
What’s different this time is the existence of a massive bloc of Americans who will tolerate nothing less than justice* in this matter.
