We must be related FRiend, LOL.
When I read it, I thought "Rules for Radicals" was the most disgusting thing I had ever read. The copy I had actually had the tribute to Satan in it, and I had never heard of that...it flabbergasted me. I found out later that it was in the original printing, then they removed it because he didn't want the Catholic clergy he worked closely with to catch on to what he really was. Then, in the late Seventies, it was considered safe to put it back in and subsequent printings had it.
And the I read the interview he did with Playboy magazine, and he bragged about stealing. He thought it was a grand thing to develop a scheme to get his meals for free and bilk a cafeteria owner. Gave his method to all his friends and such. You could just feel his pride in his dishonesty.
That left a mark on me. I can understand someone stealing food if they are starving, if they have kids not eating, etc. Not saying I condone it, but I can understand it. He wasn't starving, he was the equivalent of a counter-culture hipster. And this guy was a hero to Hillary and Obama. Well, that just says it all for me. Anyone who hasn't gotten the measure of those two after having the benefit of hearing that Alinsky was one of their heroes is evil, stupid, or just misinformed.
Boy, you can tell that set me off.
