Had Daniel Patrick Moynihan been around for today's politics, fellow New York Democratic politician Representative Hakeem Jeffries may well have provided the inspiration for his astute quote: "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts."
During the recent House Judiciary Committee hearing, Representative Jeffries asserted that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report showed that Moscow "artificially" placed President Donald Trump in the White House. As the House Democratic Caucus chair, and not said as some off-the-cuff remarks, Jeffries further insisted that "Russia interfered with our elections, attacked our democracy for the sole purpose of artificially placing someone at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue."
Jeffries's contention flies in the face of the Mueller report's clear and unambiguous conclusion: yes, Russia did interfere in the election, but the investigation "did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple efforts from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign." Jeffries overlooks the fact that two years of intense investigation by a Mueller team of handpicked lawyers — largely Democratic donors and Clinton-supporters — did not return any findings supporting the charge of "collusion" (to the dismay of Democrats.)
Had Congressman Jeffries approached his solemn congressional oversight duties with objectivity, impartiality, and an open mind, the idea of Russia "colluding" with Donald Trump and his campaign — or even Russian support for Donald Trump — would never have made any sense to him.

Doubtful. She’s a psycho hell bent on war and color revolutions. She wants a wider war in Syria and Ukraine. Trump wanted us out. She tried to launch a color revolution on Russia in 2011. And she personifies perversion and homosexuality and atheism.
Trump wanted better relations and trade. They didn’t want Hillary, but like the rest of the world they thought she was inevitable.
So they did almost nothing. In their mind helping Trunp was pointless and dangerous, and would only risk endearing Hillary, who they thought would win no matter what. Anf helping Hillary was depraved. So they sat this whole thing out.
This is just more of the same Mueller/Intel community narrative explaining to us that the Russians were deeply involved in 2016, hacked DNC servers, that the Steele dossier really did come from Russian sources, that they want to destabilize America etc.
The whole Russia thing is a DNC lie. There isn’t a shred of truth about it... none.
Meanwhile, everything being said about Russia is true about China x10. But that’s mostly ignored, except by Trunp.
The Russians were rooting for Bernie. Hillary was a second choice.
The Mueller report showed no such thing. It did show that some Russians attempted to buy influence with Trump, but that is not the same.
Since they knew that their bought and paid for politician, Hillary, might not win, they wanted to ensure that they would still have the same level of influence on a Trump White House. They failed.

The writer here is trying to defend Trump by says the Russians were actually for Hillary. But he’s missing the boat. They hate Hillary, used not to hate Aneruca, and were looking forward to some prosperity based on trade. They hated Obama and his homosexual bases meddling.

It’s absurd to think the Russians would prefer Trump instead of Mrs. Bill Clinton. On the one hand, you have a guy with a reputation of being a tough negotiator, and on the other hand the Russians ABSOLUTELY KNOW, from firsthand experience, that Mrs. Bill Clinton is the woman responsible for their getting their hands on thousands of Secret and even Top Secret documents.
Still, Putin must be laughing his ass off that he set off the Democrats on a multi-year temper tantrum, with no end in site, for a mere pittance of money.

Back when all this collusion nonsense broke on the news, I told people it made no sense for Russia to prefer Trump to Clinton, or any Republican to a Democrat. You don’t even have to discuss anything controversial or disputed.
Think about Russia’s economy. It’s based on energy and weapons sales. Why on earth would the Russians prefer the party of Big Oil and in bed with the Military-Industrial Complex to the party of Big Environment and in bed with the Cult of Global Warming?
It just doesn’t make any sense. Right, Putin wants the guy who will increase oil and gas production and build up our military to the woman who would curtail oil and gas production and build up socialist programs in lieu of the military. Okay, sure.

Absolutely. Why would they prefer a sober, take-no-prisoners hard ass businessman who loves America to a weak, untruthful, drunken harridan who loves only herself? Any help they provided would have been to Hillary, hands down.
