Ho hum...

Another wish-fantasy turned into “news” with the help of imaginary “White House insiders”.

Why does the Washington Post need to pay “journalists” when all they really need to type their “news stories” is a bunch of “stoners”?

But I repeat myself...

I agree...just like the Bay of Pigs.

On the other hand, they may have gotten faulty intelligence. The whole thing may have been a set up by Maduro to flush out the opposition. For example, the Supreme Court had supposedly pledged to support Guaido...but when the time came, silence. Was that set up in advance by a judge secretly working for Maduro?

“” “” Run 4 B-52s nap of the earth over Caracas at full military power around noon to simulate an Arclight strike.

Change will come very quickly.

Right now the regime feels safe and trusts its own meager defenses.”” “”

Very funny. Imagine 3 of them going down. Then what?

If I were Trump, I would move two squadrons of A-10s to Puerto Rico and an Carrier between there and Venezuela.

Venezuela is not yet a police state or closed society. It doesn’t take much brain to gather reliable intelligence by simply talking to the people.
The public opinion is that socialism is ok but the troubles are the result of US sanctions and plain sabotage by US agents.
Guaido is an obvious traitor in their eyes as one of US agents.
There are people who think differently but they have already emigrated for the most part.
The idea that the opposition has public support or Guaidó was elected are the same lies used to justify involvement in way too many similar quagmires.
What make people believe the standard lies are truth this time?

“Daily Bezos,” that’s a good one. I’ll be using that one. Thanks!

Don’t do it Trump. One sure way to lose my support, start another war.

How many times do we have to prove neocons wrong. Freedom is not a gift. Freedom must be earned. If Venezuela won’t fight for their freedom, then neither should we. Our time and treasure would be better spent securing our border in preparation for the flood of refuges from there.

Venezuela is a police state, policed at the local level by “neighborhood committees” and policed at upper levels by the military and under the eyes of spies, all of this coordinated by Cuba and even staffed by Cubans. The neighborhood committee members aren’t Cubans, but they do it because they get a bigger food ration.

The people are disarmed and there is no way they could resist without weapons. Interestingly, Maduro made his own guards disarm, because he obviously feared that they would shoot him.

This was either a set-up or terribly botched intelligence.

With all due respect Mr President, lousy choice.

If the purpose of bringing in a failed war-monger like Bolton was too bluff NK and Iran, great. It’s not working.

Keep the focus on China, Mr President, and send Yosemite Sam into retirement with his little Bush Masters.

Russia and Iran have their paws all over Venezuela.

Talk about collusion.
