Wray Says He Wouldn’t Use ‘Spying’ Term To Describe FBI Surveillance
Daily Caller ^ | 05/07/2019 | Chuck Ross

Wray said he was not personally aware of any evidence the FBI illegally surveilled the Trump campaign.

The FBI relied on the unverified Steele dossier to obtain Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

An FBI informant, Stefan Halper, also made contact during the campaign with Page and two other Trump aides, George Papadopoulos and Sam Clovis. Halper was accompanied on his outreach to Papadopoulos by a government investigators working under the alias Azra Turk. It remains unclear if Turk was working for the FBI or another government agency, such as the CIA.

When Trump finally plants some leather on Wray’s cardboard a$$, Trump should say, I wouldn’t use the term “You’re fired.” “You’ve been Sh*t canned Sparky” seems appropriate.

We don't like the word "blackmail".

We prefer the term "extortion".

“Wray said he was not personally aware of any evidence the FBI illegally surveilled the Trump campaign.”

If Wray is that ignorant and uninterested he shouldn’t be the Director.

He is covering for the coup conspiracy because he is Deep State.

Wray said nothing about the FBI/CNN raid on Roger Stone and seems to resist release of proof of FISA abuse. He appears to be protecting the FBI no matter what they do.

Wray is no better than Comey. And this jackass should be slapped down hard for contradicting his direct supervisor in public.

The FBI needs it’s leash jerked HARD.

Wray is full of crap. I learned all I need to know about him from his congressional testimony. He sat there smirking, defending Mueller, Comey and the Russia collusion investigation as legitimate.

He’s a POS.

Christopher Wray just disgraced himself.

Halper and Turk were NOT Trump staffers...

Therefore they cannot be informants!!!

They were spies... spying on Trump staffers.

Resign immediately!!!!

Actually, the article says he "was not personally aware of any evidence the FBI illegally surveilled the Trump campaign."

First caveat = not personally aware. This means he could have been informed there was illegal surveillance, but he just didn't personally witness it.

Second caveat = aware of any evidence. In other words, illegal surveillance could have occurred, but he isn't aware that there is an evidence (because it could have been covered up).

Third caveat = illegal surveilled. He knows there was surveillance, but if in his mind he thinks it was legal, when then, he can say he wasn't aware of any illegal surveillance.

Yea and soon they will all have to suddenly stop talking about IT, again, without, again, releasing, again, any of the redacted, incriminating info, because it’s just too close to the election, and then this whole damn thing, will surprisingly be, forgotten, again, and they, (the dems) will go free, just like I have said, all along!

This is the way our TWO tier justice system works now - one for the dems and the other SHAFT for the low class rest of us - don’t you guys get it yet? I do!

I think it’s likely some of them will say that, at worst, it wasn’t “illegal spying,” but rather “improper surveillance” or some such. Some will deny that any kind of sneaky investigations occurred at all.

Should have been before now. CNN already playing the Barr vs. Wray angle, as I’m sure all of the MSM outlets will. Setting it up as evidence that coming indictments are “politically motivated” by Barr and DJT.
