Is it over already? Those horse races sure are fast.
Had my money on Seattle Slew. How did she do?

Wow!! Maximum security lost by decision....nasty way to win a horse race for the other horse!

Whenever I think of horse racing (which is *very* seldom) I think back to a Mafia trial I attended about a year ago.In it I heard the testimony of a fellow mobster, already serving about 100 years for various crimes, speaking about he and the defendant had been fixing many races at two well known race tracks.

Hmm.
Go back to 1975. Diabolo practically knocked down the leading horse, Avatar, letting Foolish Pleasure get the victory.
Inquiries led nowhere.

Lost all interest in horse racing after that BS. There wasn’t much interest to begin with.
The upside is rating for the next two legs of the triple crown will be way down for NBC.

That’s the result Hillary Clinton was hoping for after the 2016 presidential election.

Not into horse racing but happened to watch. Maximum Security disqualified for “running out of his lane and impeding another horse”? Exactly which lane? Didn’t see any lanes out there. Being a NASCAR fan this is too “gentlemanly” for my idea of racing. The initially thrilled trainer loses to the big bucks, lobbying the officials, sore loser.

I dropped out of college and after several hours on the road, on Derby Day 1973, got stuck in the traffic jam on the Watterson Expressway.

I did not see any unusual interference. MS won by a pretty good distance. Better horse.
