Yes, he screwed up.

I don't think any of us know this for a fact.

No, I smell a Jack Posobiec stunt. From what I saw on twitter years ago the guy is a huge flake.

Well, his team has NOT disbanded. Remember, they still are filing final papers on a number of cases. Yeah, Weissman is gone, but trust me: there is still a “rump” there and they can still issue subpoenas and still file charges. You need to wait until that office is padlocked and Mulehead back in happy retirement.

“I don’t think any of us know this for a fact.”

Sorry, I think you’re right. The man was put through a meat grinder. He was literally bankrupted out of house and home, his wife and kids were threatened with prosecution, and there was no end to it in sight.

It’s no wonder he decided to cop a plea.

I’m thinking Mueller was just a figurehead to this whole process, but he allowed the dirtiest deeds to be performed under his name. Both he and Weissman are despicably evil people, but Weissman should be in jail for torturing innocent people and holding our country hostage to elaborate lies.
I hope that Mueller regrets his name being attached to this evil. I can only pray that he will confess his sins to Congress as absolution.

Hi AJ -

My memory around the time that General Flynn entered his plea was that he also made a seeming “throwaway” comment that someday evidence regarding his innocence will be disclosed. Further, my memory is that he implied that it was the stuff books would/could be written about. Since that time, I’ve reserved judgment on the General, and had confidence in him.

I’m not where I can search for the link/story. Maybe a kind FReeper will remember and help.

Thank you for posting that link. A very interesting letter that should get Herr Mueller disbarred along with his Gestapo.

OH yes. Against individuals who acted under color of law. All those big pay days for Comey and Mueller could go bye bye

If there is exculpatory evidence no pardon is needed just an appeal

Kind of known for a long time now by some commentators. General Flynn's main problem was he dared to question Obama's handling of Iraq and Afghanistan, and because of that the Obama administration set out to frame him.

Then the Mueller investigation squeezed him further, until he agreed to a plea deal simply because he was broke and could no longer afford to fight the legal charges.

Curiously, when Flynn was forced out of the DIA, guess who was the Director of the FBI? 10 brownie points if you said M-U-E-L-L-E-R.

That has stuck out in my mind also. Any of these guys rounded up using fraudulent documents to get warrants, should be cleared.

Any of these guys rounded up using fraudulent documents to get warrants, should be cleared.

And those deliberately using falsified evidence should suffer the penalties those who they framed would have endured. Times three.

If there is exculpatory evidence that was withheld, the AG could instruct the prosecutors to apologize to Flynn and the Judge and withdraw the prosecution. While a biological hazard from exploded heads in D.C. is a risk, it would be epic nonetheless.

It seems to me that it’s a case of entrapment and coercion.

I still think his “plea” had more to do with his son and not anything that he did, but that is only a guess based on what little we know.

I think you are correct here. I also think the sentencing is not a foregone conclusion yet. The judge must accept the plea bargain before the sentencing. If the bargain falls through the judge may direct that a trial be held. In such a case, the prosecutor may drop the charges "in the interests of justice". It would look bad for the prosecution but not as bad as if a sentencing occurred, exculpatory evidence appeared and it was shown that the prosecution knew about it all the time.
