They may very well have talked about all of the things she mentioned. But somewhere in the middle of it, he whispered to her that she would end up dead if HRC was prosecuted for anything, and/or if the FBI did not back off.
And there you have it. It is not that complicated. Or he asked if she remembered (named a few) some people who died prematurely in strange ways. It could have taken him like 10 seconds to cover this.
It could have been something as simple as having her read a warning/threat he had scrawled onto a piece of paper. No actual words spoken, but the message sent and unmistakably received. Then the rapist puts the paper back in his pocket and ‘poof’, it never happened.
