Pelosi: Barr committed a crime by lying to lawmakers [developing]

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday said Attorney General William Barr committed a crime by lying to lawmakers during his testimony on Capitol Hill.

"What is deadly serious about it is the attorney general of the United States of America was not telling the truth to the Congress of the United States. That's a crime," Pelosi said during a press conference.

Her comments come a day after Barr was grilled by Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee over his handling of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian election interference.

Barr was roundly criticized for his performance during the hearing, which came shortly after reports emerged that Mueller had expressed frustration with Barr's memo summarizing the report's key findings.

I posted here yesterday about this line of questioning. That Barr’s notes will say one thing and now that Mueller knows they are going to ask him about the conversation he is going to say something totally different and will write up something different. Thus saying Barr lied.

The other thing Barr and Rosenstein asked Mueller if he wanted to review the 4 page summary. He declined. He did this on purpose as they had planned their next step for Mueller to send a letter saying he had an issue with it. Then get Barr to testify about it.

The House wanted Barr to testify today because they had their lawyers on hand to set him up with gotcha questions.

Barr knew it and ignored the invite.

Exactly, the Rats had it set up as an impeachment type deposition.

Newly neutered Mueller and his gang of 17 angry democrats are now rendered powerless against Barr’s entire DOJ department.

It’s impossible to believe Mueller’s “notes” could hold a candle to Barr’s capabilities.

Hirono lied about and slandered a cabinet member with absolutely no penalty. Hey Nancy! Censure Hirono!

Nancy looked like she hadn’t slept in days when she made that slanderous remark. Looks to me like worrying about what’s coming is keeping her up at night.

It should be clear to anyone at this point given Nancy’s age, her apparent and emerging deteriorating physical appearance, her public incidents of slurred speech, facial freezes and incoherent ramblings that she is rapidly approaching the time when she should step down as Speaker Of The House. However her replacement might be Chuck Schumer or worse.

So Schumer is moving to the House?

Unless I’m mistaken, I’m not sure of the process. But AOC could, couldn’t she? She’s a House member.

I am not aware of any way to move from the Senate to the House or vice versa without an election. Yes AOC could be speaker but it is highly unlikely.

According to the research I did there are no rules preventing such a move. A private citizen could be named Speaker.

Yes, that is true and I spaced it. That said there is two chances of that happening, slim and none.

Don’t put anything past these Leftists. Look what they did to Kavanaugh. They literally came out and said they wanted to eliminate habeas corpus. They’ll try anything.

“Don’t piss off the guy who is investigating many of your colleagues.”

You’d think that would be the first thing they’d consider. Smart people would be kissing his ass right about now.

“Their only possibility of claiming non-bias is the fact that they have JOHN SOLOMON on staff.”

“The Hill” also has Joe Concha, who I love. Other than Solomon and Concha ... just eeewww!

“Good Lord these people are just like little children. They are making a mockery of the United States Government.”

Children? Nah. All professionals carry around toy chickens when they go to work. Even Jimmy Kimmel scolded them for thay.

They must think that their only hope is to discredit Barr so anything he investigates is somehow tainted. Won’t work. He was hired to clean up the mess left by the wuss Sessions.
