They smeared him, called him a liar and said he should resign. The same Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee who tried to assassinate the character of Judge Brett Kavanaugh last year pulled the same stunt on Bill Barr — with the same result.
They failed because, once again, they were throwing mud while shooting blanks.
Despite the Dems’ desperate efforts to derail Kavanaugh’s nomination with false accusations, he is now on the Supreme Court. Barr was obviously prepared for his mud bath and was unflappable in the face of Wednesday’s mean-spirited assault, proving himself to be a rock-solid attorney general.
As he said at his confirmation hearing, “I won’t be bullied,” and he wasn’t.

I missed the hearing yesterday and hope to catch it on u-toob. Did he have to take questions from staffers? Is Barr scheduled for a return visit today?

I loved it when Barr refused to give that Connecticut senator notes about the correspondence with Mueller. Nope, you can’t have them you undertaker. Rich.
Barr was only questioned by lying moronic democrat senators and the republicans on the committee. He is not coming back today for a house judiciary inquisition because the house democrats don’t want to be owned by Barr too. The house democrats were going to sick their rabid committee lawyers on him. Barr told them to F off.

Even CNN fact checked his claim that Congress staffers interview witness’ all the time, wrong! Never is the answer whether staffers get to “interview” a cabinet member. Never has happened, Nadler straight up lied to the American people and even CNN called him on it.
