If you cannot write a prescription (or at least design a rocket engine), you shouldn’t get “Dr.” before your name in everyday conversation.
I’m sure that Biden’s “Doctor of Education in educational leadership” looks nice on a school principal job application ...but “Dr. Biden responds to perv husband’s antics” is just silly.
