The end times OUGHT to be a reason for a strong optimism of Spirit. Jesus’ plan of salvation (with the alternative of final judgment against those who adamantly refuse it) is cooking along just fine.
But Christians are so mournful today. WHY??? Could it be upside-down values, as one Salvation Army colonel I knew kept sharing with his congregants.
Liberal/progressive Americans are the most negative humans in our Fine Country; and, they predominate in areas such as media, education, and some high tech that deals w info dissemination.
I observed that these highly negative peeps generally associate with certain, internally-connected groups such as Marxists, liberals, Dems, progressives, anarchists, and show people.
Conversely, we conservatives just happen to be the most optimistic, genial, friendly, and happily centered folks that you will encounter (and we all know this as we all have experienced this.)

The modern thing that falsely calls itself liberalism is a lie. Liberality itself was built into the human plan by God Himself. There’s no abridging this.
I think the negativity comes from the vain attempt to carry out liberality apart from the worship of God. This vain attempt, sometimes called “liberalism,” will only turn up more and more to complain about as it tries to address its stated goals. This is of a piece with the vain attempt of humanity to understand good and evil of themselves. Creation is a God-sized task to keep going satisfactorily. Humanity is incompetent to do it alone.

Well for the last two years, the news coverage has been 99% negative, it is no wonder that Americans who watch the news would be negative.
If Americans were more positive, we’d be launching nuclear missiles by now to spread radioactive cheer through out the world.
Political centrism, as it was traditionally known (not as an average in a game where the goal posts are being moved), is probably the wisest thing that can be had in the political sphere. This allows inspiring acts of liberality in good discretion, while not giving away the store. As Ecclesiastes put it, why be overly “righteous” or “wicked” — both leading unto destruction, the one for impossibility, the other for folly?
If I only came to know America from what I was fed by the LMSM, I would be negative as well as suicidal.

So our thoughts, our voting, our religions, our viewing habits, indeed everything that pertains to our life is somehow determined and proffered to be blindly followed to the whims of a few hundred anonymous polled fools the rabid leftists claim is truth? NONSENSE!! Pure unadulterated crap.
I don’t do polls or surveys much but lately I have done two completely different ones. Both times the person that called was trying to put words in my mouth and get me to give socialist answers. Wording questions where if you answer conservative it is something designed to make you look like a horrible person.
I have not had that experience in the past, most that called were neutral in questions and allowed me to respond without trying to twist my answers for me.
We do quite a bit of work compared to the rest of the world, despite our own internal socialist infestation and those like our own chamber of commerce who want to replace american workers with h1b folks and illegals.
The US is one of a minority of countries where bitching is legal.
