I am really sick of the brainwashed commentary about Trump being the cause of Puerto Rico's problems. This is unproductive, and deflects responsibility from those people and policies, within Puerto Rico, that truly are responsible.

The Hispanic bs about how the US is at fault for every Central and South American country and every Hispanic island not providing opportunity, safety, and prosperity to their people is just that - bs. It's unfair to the people there, and unfair to the people here.

I agree.

I would word it, it’s condescending to people there, misleading, and unfair to people here.

The people of Puerto Rico are worthy of ownership and respect for being able to get things done.

The fact they don’t, isn’t our fault. It is their’s.

As for us, we have no burden to be more responsible for them, anymore than we would be for one of our mainland states.

Install Capitalist ways, law and order, stand back and watch things improve.

They want us to do everything. No.

You are spot on and don’t forget what the Clinton’s did to Haiti.
