I have been to Chop Chop square in Riyadh, but not to witness an execution. I do recall an interview in a local Saudi newspaper with the person who performed the executions and other penalties. He took great pride in his work and deemed it an honor. He said he had no problem with the beheadings, but chopping off hands were disturbing for him. He was a huge man from Sudan originally.
