If @MittRomney spent the same energy fighting Barack Obama as he does fighting Donald Trump, he could have won the race (maybe)!
Can I get a BOOM! DOOM on Romney!
Good job, Mr. President!
A question every rational person was asking at the time. He would have won easily if he had attacked Obama for legitimate issues in the same way he attacked his GOP competitors over bogus stuff.
He knows that he'll never,*ever*,be President!
someone needs to find a way to print Mitt Romeny’s image on every sheet in rolls of toilet paper and send the White House a case of the rolls .
he certainly puts a lot of energy into tweeting.
Romney is just PO’d that Trump didn’t lose with quiet dignity like he did. Romney has wanted to be president for a long time, when he had his chance, he blew it. Then he begged Trump for a job.
He threw the race just like McLame.
Have you searched the web? One year I gave my Dad a roll of TP with Obama’s face on it for his Birthday, and Hillary’s face on it for Father’s Day.
Yup. He was the designated loser.
He lost on purpose.
I think that's very plausible. He was ahead in several polls before he wimped in one of his debates with Bathhouse Barry.
My recollection is that Willard went on vacation when he should have been campaigning.
Obama also spied on Mittens and had a great laugh
Funny watching some of my Mormon FB friends defending Romneys criticism of Trump and throwing Romneys failures right back in their faces.
I had an insurance restoration business many years ago. Aside from lawyers, Mormons were the worst to deal with. I was the greatest guy in the world until Monday morning when they all of a sudden wanted to cancel the contract.
After informing them that we had a valid contract, most of them refused to allow me access to their home and unilaterally cancelled the contract.
A month after being tossed off the job and having one of their friends complete the job or doing it themselves, they got lessons in expectancy as it relates to contracts.
When I would send such customers a bill for the expectancy, they would deny they owed anything. They were wrong; VERY WRONG.
What they, and most people, didnt understand is that business expectancy isnt just the anticipated net profit; it is the anticipated gross profit. In the insurance restoration business, that is 40%. On a $20k job, thats 8k. I would offer to take just 6k if they would just pay up. Most of them didnt believe I could actually collect and said Id have to sue them, so I did; and won every time in small claims court.
More likely, he just didn't have the energy or the focus or the sense of purpose. The nomination was the prize and once he got that he didn't know where to go from there.
And he thought it would be easier. He thought he was going to win. He was overconfident. And lazy, I guess.
I don't buy the "designated loser" theory. You don't go through the whole campaign thing because you want to take a dive in the end.
