Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren praised freshman congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in a piece for Time magazine’s 2019 list of the "100 most influential people" in the world.
In the short article, Warren praised the New York representative for giving a voice to those she fears the government has willfully forgotten.
Describing the financial struggles faced by Ocasio-Cortez’s family after her father's death, in 2008, Warren wrote: “She watched as our government bailed out Wall Street while it ignored families like hers. She learned the hard way that in America today, Washington protects the powerful while leaving hardworking people behind.

A year ago she was stealing from the tip jar, dissing her fellow workers. Some animals are more equal than others.
I wouldn’t vote for either Warren or Cortez. It’s not the government’s job to ‘bail out’ families undergoing hardship. Get a backbone, try hard to overcome obstacles in life, and hope you have a government that doesn’t meddle in your affairs. Our Republic is designed to allow citizens the opportunity to succeed in life but not to give citizens a livelihood.
What is in these idiots heads? More so, what are we giving them their 15 minutes for?

She graduated high school in 2007. Graduated Boston University in 2011. A very expensive school, around $75m a year today, probably less then. A quarter million dollar education. Which she was in the middle of in 2008-2009. Leaving aside the quality of what Boston University was selling, as Liz notes with her degree she worked as a bartender. An honorable profession, though one that doesn't necessarily require a quarter million undergrad degree. Still, the question of how the hardworking young lady could afford it is open. She complains about everything, but I haven't heard a word about her student loans, which must be massive.

Looks like Sen Warren just confessed to the incredible political incompetence of the Democratic Socialist party. Less than a year ago in that party, nobody made more of a difference than a 29 year old incompetent, ignorant bartender. No statesmanship skill sets remaining anywhere with the Democrats.
