House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Tuesday admitted that she does not know the content of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) recent remarks about 9/11 — despite offering a full-throated defense of the freshman congresswoman in the wake of criticism from President Donald Trump.

“I don’t think the congresswoman is anti-Semitic. I wouldn’t even put those in the same category,” Pelosi told interviewer Christiane Amanpour in Ireland. “We have no taint of that [anti-Semitism],” she added. “And just because they want to accuse somebody of that doesn’t mean that we take that bait.”
Pelosi also dismissed criticisms that she hasn’t done enough to defend Omar, conceding, “Until I talk to somebody, I don’t even know what was said.”
“I do know that what the president did was not right,” she added.
Omar is facing blowback for downplaying the September 11, 2001, terror attack, describing it last month private fundraiser for Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as a day on which “some people did something,” before adding “and that all of us were starting to lose our civil liberties.”
In reaction to the Minnesota Democrat’s remarks, President Trump shared a video to social media of Omar’s remarks and scenes of the World Trade Center engulfed in flakes shortly after it was attacked by radical Islamic terrorists. The video’s caption reads: “WE WILL NEVER FORGET!”

Not surprised by her answers. It’s usual DemocRAT pablum - intellectual pap.
I think what happened was Pelosi jumped to the defense of a fellow RAT - knee-jerk reaction, then learned the details of what Omar said later.
I actually think, after learning the details, Pelosi believes that what Omar said was over-the-top, with definitely negative political impact on the RAT Party. Of course, she can’t say that, so she instead goes and attacks Trump - Pelosi’s smokescreen.
Was Pelosi embarrassed by what Omar said? I doubt it, but I’d wager that her reaction instead was anger at what the little Jihadi’s doing to RAT prospects. Don’t forget, you may think Pelosi is stupid, but she’s still a politically savvy force to be reckoned with.
She’s continuing to ponder what to do with the Three Moronic Musketeers. Her task isn’t easy due to their popularity with the SJW kiddies.
What’s most frightening is that Omar and Pelosi are very representative of their constituents.
And note that Pelosi and Omar both get most of their votes from white people, the only people that don’t practice identity politics. This whole mess is really a civil war among whites with Christian backgrounds. Any minorities are peripheral.

The think I love about her “comments” are.. her fuller quote was something like
“Because some people did some thing, all of us (CAIR is the AUDIENCE OF THIS SPEECH BTW) are losing on civil liberties”
Now, PLEASE Ms Omar, tell me what Muslim has had their “civil liberties” removed or lost over 9/11?? PLEASE.. TELL ME!!
