Wow. Heat rises. With debris falling in the middle I’m stunned that there is so much wood left—and the pulpit, which is somewhat elevated and fairly close to where stuff was coming down, looks in fairly good shape.

They’re going to have to do something asap to stabilize the ceiling and protect it from the elements.

I suspect this is. I’m pleasantly surprised so much is standing.
One of the hardest parts is that the amazing, beautiful windows are most likely gone.
Question is will the French rebuild?
And I hope they got the archived stuff in the basement out.
