That’s a different matter than regulatory actions like pulling a license. Further, the Alien and Sedition Act has long been a dead letter in the courts. Unless you can catch these people in a libel or slander action, they won’t be going to jail. They probably wouldn’t even be charged; they’re smart enough to stay on this side of that line.
They’ve been smart enough. But only until now.
