I’m thinking Mueller’s team is sacrificing him in a desperate attempt to appease the Republican gods (i.e., Trump and Barr), so that the spying investigation doesn’t take place.
Kind of like the ancient cultures throwing virgins into volcanoes, hoping that the volcanoes would be satisfied and not erupt.
