Former Vice President Joe Biden is significantly leading the Democratic primary race in South Carolina according to a poll released on Monday. Biden leads the field convincingly with 32 percent of the vote, according to a poll of voters conducted by Change Research, while Sen. Bernie Sanders only has 14 percent support. Kamala Harris comes in third place with 10 percent followed by Corey Booker and Beto O’Rourke tied at nine percent.
Biden has yet to officially announce his run for president.
Stacy Abrams, the former failed candidate for Georgia Governor, has not announced a 2020 campaign but currently has 7 percent support in South Carolina, tied with South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

The poll included 744 registered voters in South Carolina who said they planned to vote in the state’s 2020 Democratic presidential primary. Polling took place from March 31-April 4. The margin of error is +/- 3.6%.

Oh they like chomos in South Carolina?
There is a Bloom County cartoon from the summer of ‘84 where a Democratic Delegate accidentally wanders into the Meadow Party Convention, and there is a dialogue that goes something like this:
(Dem Delegate) We’ve got Mondale to go up against Reagan, who do you have?
(Meadow Party Delegate). A dead cat.
(Dem Delegate). (Pauses) Oh, what the heck. (Joins in the party on the floor of the Meadow Party Convention).
It’s still (almost) anybody’s race. But my long-shot pick is a Harris/Buttigieg ticket.

If Biden does run and win the DEM nomination, it will be Harris or Warren on the ticket. Sadly, women in this country might put that pairing over the top.
I will grant that audience sizes may provide some indication of support level, but only if the attendees aren't bussed in.
