Jennifer Rubin, stalwart Republican:
WHAT A LAUGH..!
Good riddance.
“Bill Kristol, David Frum”
ROLFAMO
WE’RE GONNA LOSE LIKE 47 VOTES!!
THE SWING STATES ARE GONE!!!
TEXAS IS IN PLAY FOR THE DEMS!!
:)
Um.. yes....
Leaving because of the best President for Israel and Jewish people in decades.
That certainly makes sense.
We may be losing RINO neocons, but I’m hoping we’ll see some jews seeing the light.
Those frauds were as Republican as Plugs Biden.
Theyre riding the Democrat train.
So are they saying these people are joining the Democrats? If they can stomach AOC, Beto and Kamala, theyre no loss whatsoever.
The Trump GOP mistreats and demonizes immigrants, winks at white supremacists, kisses up to tyrants, and turns its back on climate change. When Trump demeans the memory of McCain, this GOP cowers. Its a party a lot of Republicans dont recognize, much less Republican Jews.
Nothing but a bunch of NYT and Democrat canards.
Why add the ‘J’? The Original, Accept No Imitations, Exodus, was already Jews. Shouldn’t we call a WASPy one a Wexodus instead?
Oh no the moderate to conservative Democrats have finally stopped wearing the R Jersey and are donning the true colors. What shall we do?!?!
As to the articleit comes down to this: Trump is anti/Semitic cause, well, isnt everyone who doesnt toe the leftist line racist, homophobic, sexist and anti-Semitic by defenituon?
As for Ohmars comments and the dems embracing them. Phaaa, we all know it is by definition impossible for the dems to be racist, sexist, etc.
Where they get into trouble is when they try to use as a basis for an article or opinion piece something personal like religion. It's not something most Americans don't wear on their sleeve, or hang around their neck for that matter.
And journalists (here I am right now committing the same fallacy I accuse them of!) would appear to be, in general, not a good cross-section of the religious spectrum in this great country.
Some of my best friends have been Jewish, and whenever the topic arises, I usually find they do not base their politics on what alleged "Republican Jewish leaders" say or write, or (especially) the reasons, if any, that Christians mostly are in full support of the state of Israel. They are college-educated and have learned to think for themselves.
Any candidate or party attempting to use a person's religious beliefs--or non-beliefs--as bait to snare votes in 2020 will likely find it's a non-starter.
There are too many issues of national importance, and will likely be even more by November of next year, that will steal the limelight.
Of course, the national media will continue its campaign to influence voters' opinions with news stories and polls showing this group or that subset of the population is swinging to the Democrats.
They will support their "findings" with well-filtered comments by members of that group who will claim to have once voted Republican in the past, but not longer.
LOL.
They're RINO, JINO, Big Media, establishment hacks.
It’s been traditional for quite a while for American Jewry (even some of orthodox theological bent) to ride the leftist political train. Their theory has been that American traditionalism would bring Christianity to the fore again, which in the old countries was marred by ugly pogroms. Therefore under lefty politics, it is concluded, Jewish survival would be more likely. We American Christians understand this as having been a terrible betrayal of our Savior, whose outreach per the bible is to the Jew and the “Greek,” but it’s a history whose dust has to settle. One conservative Jewish commentator whose name escapes me is warming up to relations with American Christians, who he sees as fighting with books and theology rather than with force.
ie all the Neocons.
