I'm aware....He said because he typed his recollection right away, it could be used as evidence. That's common knowledge in LE.

Here's my problem. The mere fact that he typed it up in the car....tells me he was indeed trying to set up the President.

And another thing...I'm sure Comey and every one else knew he was going to get canned....

And remember, Comey was going to the President to warn him about the Steele Dossier....which had not been checked out. The President told check it out. Comey ignored him.

Comey wasn’t warning him, at least not doing the president a favor.

Comey was, in effect, beginning to blackmail him.

That's the 'official story'.

But for all we know, Comey could have been attempting to blackmail the POTUS. Comey didn't need to "check it out" because he knew it was 100% pure unadulterated BS. That's what makes their interactions so suspicious. If it was not blackmail, then it was tantamount to blackmail and manipulation. Trump was 100% correct to fire him. His only error was waiting so long to do so.
