There's the aspect which can't be measured. Notice how many people who aren't thinking about the issues we face? Their drone-like acceptance of what their side says they should believe is not normal for the human spirit. That lack of clear-headed objectivity....is it drug-related?

I don't have the time or energy to dislike people. But I don't enjoy being surrounded by people who don't want to think things out for themselves. And who don't think it's important to question the way things are.

Indeed - I've often suspected that at least some of the Reefer Madness hysterics are suffering from alcoholic wet-brain.

I think a lot of it is also internet/smartphone addiction.
