Horse hockey! On October 23, 2018, while addressing the King and Queen of the Netherlands, she stated that Britain was looking “toward a new partnership with Europe” and that shared values between Britain and Europe are “our greatest asset”. (Emphasis added)

Firstly, the UK is a CONSTITUTIONAL monarchy, NOT an absolute monarchy. Her Majesty's role is APOLITICAL, representing her country in the most positive light. While she, like everyone else has her opinions, she does not share them in public, for the good of the country's unity. Her comments were most certainly NOT those of a 'remainer' nor of a 'Brexiteer'.

Before the UK joined the EU, the UK had trading and other types of 'partnerships' with ALL European Union members, to one degree or another. After Brexit, trade and other relationships will continue in some form. Therefore, a NEW partnership. AFA 'shared values', the common values of Europe come from Christianity. While these values are waning in Europe, so are they in ALL the 'Western world' INCLUDING the US, unfortunately.

Don't cast aspersions on Her Majesty. She is head and shoulders above ANY politician in almost ANY country.
