Y’all have had that happening ever since the so-called pentecostal revival in the 1920’s, and what has it done? You have HAD apologetics published since before I was born, and what has it done? I believe in the Jeffersonian relationship of Deity and man, with all that a man does, is between him and his god, and nobody else’s business.
The devil is a master morpher, and Christians in each applicable age must address the popular means of deviltry as well as Satan in general. What good has it done? To answer that with “nothing” presupposes that the only good is to completely wipe it out rather than being overall victorious in spite of its presence.
I don’t know of too many who’ve addressed the modern thing called satanism, but if it should gain in presence, they will address it.
As for Jefferson — please call us back when he has created us and died for our sins. We look to higher things than the conventions of mankind.
