I support the petition. I wish it was completely separate from the TFP Student Group. At the bottom of petition, it says, “by signing this petition, you are agreeing to receive newsletters from TFP.”
I get that you can unsubscribe at anytime, but many online cites will continue to find some method to keep using your personal email. Maybe in a few weeks, this will have changed.
” “where newcomers can learn about Satanism.”
isn’t this the new motto by the DNC?
All right, folks. A question: you complain about YOUR 1st Amendment rights, no? What about THEIR 1st Amendment rights? I believe it is for ALL citizens, or none. Your choice.
First amendment should not have any restrictions 15,000 little morons/communists/nazis trying to shut up people they dont agree with
How about they close down the more dangerous Young Demonrat club first.
There can be no “Satan” if there is no God, and God certainly exceeds this devil’s faculties. So, what’s to “learn”?
First Amendment. And its a public university. So you are going to have trouble shutting this down.
I’d rather have them than some academic departments.
The true first amendment test will be when Christians offer their critiques of satanism, which they have a right before God to do, although they may suffer as a consequence.
I may be mistaken, but I believe these “satanism” observations are among the more bowdlerized ways that the devil can be approached. The devil typically doesn’t come around as in satanic ceremonies, a hunky male figure in red tights with horns and a pointy tail and a pitchfork. He comes around as the answer to our fondest short sighted wishes. They aren’t even honest about the devil.
