The prosecutor who texted Jussie Smollett's family at the request of a former Michelle Obama aide to discuss getting the FBI to take over the Empire actor's case has come under renewed scrutiny after all charges against him were sensationally dropped.

So far Chicago has around 10% clearance rate for homicides for the year. The last thing they need is for the police to feel useless even when they complete a successful investigation. Maybe the police need to take a no confidence vote in the Cook County DA’s office.
You can smell the Obamas meddling in the Smollett fiasco, and it smells a lot worse than us Walmart shoppers.

Smollett was recruited by democrats to play lead in the hoax with the promise of protection all to garner public support for Corey Booker’s anti-lynching legislation.
This is just the protection.

The Obamas basically OWN Chicago, they know where ALL the bodies are buried, heck they probably buried some of the bodies..They own the town and they are good friends with the Smollett family, so they got him off that simple
It seems obvious that the Obamas still have deeply entrenched pull with the FBI. How anyone can have confidence in the FBI or our tiered justice system is beyond rational thought. This jerk made pay-offs and called in favors. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Obamas didn’t master-mind the entire farce.
If Emmanuel’s anger is not phony (which it may well be), it might signal a rift between the Clintons and Obama.
