In other words, we aren’t charging the POTUS with obstructing an investigation into something we should never been investigating in the first place.

The dems will impeach him for this. But impeachment is a political act and for them to impeach a guy for obstruction of an investigation of a crime he never committed and said he never committed from the get go would be political all right, political SUICIDE.
