Republicans had the House until last January; no investigation. Republicans hold the Senate; no investigation. Does anyone really think one is going to start now?
No, and how much control of the DOJ Trump now is certainly open to question. Barr is an old veteran political appointee and a friend of Robert Mueller. His confirmation may well have been the result of a deal to support Barr or nobody would be confirmed. Also, Barr’s agreement to further keep Rosenstein on for a while longer doesn’t inspire confidence.
Not according to what Rep Nunes said this yesterday...He did extensive investigations, and his findings have held true while most others have come up with false results.
