But McCain did have cause to damage Trump: First, Trump publicly called McCain a loser for losing to Obammy. Second, Trump publicly stated that McCain is only a "war hero" because he was captured, and that he doesn't like people who are captured. Third, Trump accomplished something that McCain failed to achieve -- winning the election for POTUS. McCain, being the small, petty, vengeful, narcissistic turd that he was could never get over these "insults" and that's why he orchestrated a coup to take down our president.

All true about McCain but I don’t think it was just personal animosity. McCain has always been a uniparty shill and a tool of the deep State globalist agenda. And this was well before Trump came on the scene.
The biggest hatred of trump it’s because of what he is doing to change the world order and putting America first once again. McCain was a fabulous tool because he had the war hero badge and conservative cred so he could play both ends against each other.
