Somebody just buy the rights to Johnny Carson.
Reruns of the Tonight Show I would happily stay up to watch.

Antenna TV has Carson reruns at 10 PM Eastern. There were very few things funnier than a Carson monologue.
Well,the downside of that is that the only channel that would be interested would be The Old Geezer Channel. But the upside is that old geezers are the ones who buy BMWs and vacation in Europe...so they wouldn't have trouble finding advertisers.
I do agree. If you had ten years of Johnny Carson and ran it against ‘the big boys’...you’d probably take 20-percent of the audience. Heck, it might even grow to a third of all viewers for the time-slot.
Pffttt.... I haven’t watched since Carson. They can all go screw themselves. Most have no clue what real life is like. Instead, they preach to self-absorbed, baby-killing salt pillars.
I quit watching late night after Carson. The new format is all politics, rant by host, sophomoric humor, add guest who opines on politics, repeat. It’s boring, lame, and uninteresting. They all use the same formula.
I quit watching the ‘new’ guys way before Trump came along.
They just aren’t funny.

Entertainment hasn’t been about “entertainment” for a very long time. It has been about indoctrination. If you don’t think so, perform a little test. Ask a dozen people what percentage blacks or gays are in the total population. You will get answers of about 50 and 30 percent. (The real answer, depending on location and source, is about 17% and 1%.) That last number is a bit harder to come by and I have composited a lot of reading sources. But the first number is from the national statistics. The reason people overestimate these numbers is the percentages of these groups in commercials, TV, movies and magazine ads are over represented.
The one thing that I cannot, for the life of me process, is why would an advertiser sponsor a show that p.....s off 60+ million people? just sayin’
Giving the finger to half the people who live in this country is fine with the MSM... but all hell would break loose if three gay men were offended...

They are not funny at all. Conan O’Brien show is reduced to a 30 minute show now on TBS.
Jay does not have a good reputation within the industry but I’ll say this for him: he has always worked clean and for the most part, non-politically. I can still remember how brilliant he was at a small comedy club in LA back in the 80s. Colbert is a pig. An unfunny pig.
