Colbert is an ass,a DNC puppet, an outlet for the liberal aganda who’s time slots are booked to appear nightly. It’s NBC’s FREE ticket to the DNC to push their agenda

Late Night TV is for those “unwilling to work”.

Somebody just buy the rights to Johnny Carson.

Reruns of the Tonight Show I would happily stay up to watch.

Pffttt.... I haven’t watched since Carson. They can all go screw themselves. Most have no clue what real life is like. Instead, they preach to self-absorbed, baby-killing salt pillars.

The difference from 30 years ago is today people have a “platform.” They feel the need to have an opinion on all things.

I quit watching late night after Carson. The new format is all politics, rant by host, sophomoric humor, add guest who opines on politics, repeat. It’s boring, lame, and uninteresting. They all use the same formula.

Entertainment hasn’t been about “entertainment” for a very long time. It has been about indoctrination. If you don’t think so, perform a little test. Ask a dozen people what percentage blacks or gays are in the total population. You will get answers of about 50 and 30 percent. (The real answer, depending on location and source, is about 17% and 1%.) That last number is a bit harder to come by and I have composited a lot of reading sources. But the first number is from the national statistics. The reason people overestimate these numbers is the percentages of these groups in commercials, TV, movies and magazine ads are over represented.

They are not funny at all. Conan O’Brien show is reduced to a 30 minute show now on TBS.

Jay does not have a good reputation within the industry but I’ll say this for him: he has always worked clean and for the most part, non-politically. I can still remember how brilliant he was at a small comedy club in LA back in the 80s. Colbert is a pig. An unfunny pig.

The Republican bashers are competing for the same fans. The reason Rush got so big is that he had no competition while the news networks were all competing against each other. Fox is #1 because no one is doing what Fox does. If the networks kill Fox, someone who wants to make money will have to create another one.

“A man hired to host a variety show on a major network has effectively declared sixty-plus million voters unwelcome to tune in. In an era of perpetual corporate panic and preoccupation not to offend - major television networks continue to openly embrace politically segregated programming as a preference.”

What I am doing is looking at publicly traded companies who have alienated 1/2 the country and see which ones are ripe for downside investments.

Because of the partisan stupidity that Colbert and others have been spewing, hardly anybody even watches late night talk shows anymore except for the partisan left... So if they don’t cater to them they would end up with no viewers at all and ultimately cancellation.

Pandering to the left is all they have. In fact, I’ll wager that more people tune into Johnny Carson re-runs on you-tube, than tune into the current tonight show on a daily basis.
