I wish Trump would leave out the insult to McCain. McCain was as sorry as could be but it won’t help things beating up a dead man.

All he has to do is talk about McCain working with the demos/swamp.

Yup.
Lay off insulting the dead.

Nah, McCain deserves the scorn. He was a jerk - even at his own funeral.

Trump is still reeling from (false) accusations distributed, and promoted by this “dead man”. I say he’s fair game until the situation has been resolved.

The records show that McCain “colluded” to get the dossier, and thus the FISA warrant, it wasn’t Trump.

If I found proof that someone pulled that stunt - dead or not - I’m not going to sit quietly; that’s almost like pleading “guilty” because of not wanting to bring out the truth.

Meghan can go to hell.

I would normally agree with you BUT either McQueeg or his handlers continued to throw barbs and insults in PDJT’s direction while on his death bed.

Like ‘they’ say, respect may be warranted in some cases but definitely has to be earned and tossing hand grenades while claiming you have no ‘arms’ sort of makes one immune from ANY respect and you should accept the consequences of boorish behavior.

I’m seeing something a touch deeper in this tweet than just an attack on a dead man.

I’m seeing that everyone worked against Trump, and people hid evidence to gain power. This is the exact sort of stuff that has our entire country in jeopardy today.

I half agree with everyone here though... the tweets have got to stop. Because Twitter has to stop.

Trump doesn’t attack with precision weapons. If he doesn’t carpet-bomb, he doesn’t waste his time. And in this case his attack is perfectly appropriate. It’s aimed less at McCain than at those establishment GOP dopes who made speeches last week at the American Enterprise Institute calling for someone to challenge Trump in the 2020 primary.

I agree. Trump should lay off the grade school level, ad hom attacks on McCain, regardless of the level of low-life political scum he was when alive. This isn’t 3D chess. It’s more like trying to play mumblety peg with the feet of a dead body.

That dead man left a lasting negative legacy. Most of all, one of his last acts was to try to undo the Trump presidency by promoting a fabricated anti-Trump dossier. That's not going away any time soon, so, Trump is completely within his rights to continue talking about how rotten McCain was and still is.

A petty, bush league comment by President Trump.

As someone else said, not much upside, and potentially more downside.

It is important to set the record straight on the late departed Senator McCain.
John McCain, David Kramer, Hillary Clinton, the DNC, the presstitutes, Obama’s FBI, Justice Department, and other Obama appointees as well as former British spies and diplomats, and their Russian sources conspired to bring down President Trump in a coup to nullify the 2016 election.
In my humble opinion the actions of John McCain and company is akin to the actions of Benedict Arnold.

McCain does not deserve a positive legacy. He served and paid a price for his service but he is no American hero.

His last actions amount to participating in a failed coup attempt. AKA treason.

Kind of like Benedict Arnold, except that Benedict Arnold was one or our best leaders and generals before he turned.

Annapolis grads should remove all trace of McCain from their Academy.
