He went to all that trouble to identify her and, then, wants to forgive her? Doesn’t sound right. Did he get a call along the lines of “we know where your kids go to school,” I wonder.
The Bible says to forgive your enemies...............
Forgiveness does not entail forgetting, or not requiring amends.
