Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich, defended her colleague Rep. Ilhan Omar from backlash within their own party regarding the Minnesota representative's controversial remarks deemed by some to be anti-Semitic.
Omar suggested on Twitter that pro-Israel politicians are bought by groups like AIPAC and that those who support Israel have an "allegiance to a foreign country." Her remarks sparked much condemnation, including several of her Democratic colleagues.
In a preview clip of an interview on Showtime’s "The Circus," Tlaib suggested that "Islamophobia" within their party could be behind the swift condemnation for the comments.
"You know, I'm trying to figure it out. It's just this past week, I feel, and I know this would be somewhat shocking for some, but I think Islamophobia is very much among the Democratic Party as well as the Republican Party," Tlaib answered. "And I know that's hard for people to hear, but there's only been four members of Congress that are of Muslim faith. Three of them currently serve in this institution. More of us need to get elected, but more of us need to understand as we come into this institution that I have a lot of work to do with my colleagues."

Tlaib has a lot of room to talk. She’s the Mother of all MAGAphobes.
It is not a “phobia” if there is REAL reason to have fear of something.
And there is real reason to be filled with apprehension in the presence of Islamists ranting about “Death to America!”
That these are not idle threats by any means, has been demonstrated over and over by the actions of such groups as al-Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas, and al-Shabab. Bloodthirsty to the extreme, they seemingly delight in accusing Jews, ALL Jews, of the most heinous of crimes, even in the absence of any evidence, and Christians of every stripe are executed with an efficiency that would have made the Nazi concentration camp commanders envious. But Muslims turn out to be their own greatest of enemies, for any given Muslim is in greater danger of being slain by ANOTHER Muslim than any threat posed by any non-Muslim group in the world, for the crime of apostasy, failure to express devotion to Allah in the “correct” way. Millions of “honor killings” of female family members have gone unrecorded down through the history of Islam, and the custom persists to this day.
She says there needs to be more muzzles in Congress. Just how many would she consider to be “representative” of the muzzle population within America? Enough to vote for sharia law? What is “representative” of the white population? Here we go with this disingenuous use of the term “representative” again.
There is nothing irrational about fearing a religion of conquest and slavery, murder and mayhem.
It has always been a religion of war and beheadings.

“Islamophobia” The act of speaking honestly and openly of the dangers imposed by the death cult of Islam!
Actually, Islamaphobia is what caused the final resolution to be watered down so it didn’t include her or her fellow Islamists.
A party founded on warring identity groups rather than shared value will soon unravel.
Glen Beck has a very informative “you tube” report on Omar. It is long and well worth the time to watch. Omar works for both the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR. She lied about her marriage plus much more.
