How the Islamic State Was Defeated in Iraq and Syria. From 2015 to 2019.

The Islamic State began as the Organisation of Monotheism and Jihad, created in 1999 by Jordanian career criminal Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Originally the group wanted to overthrow the Jordanian monarchy, but after the American invasion of Iraq, Zarqawi’s goal became igniting a sectarian war between Sunni and Shia Muslims in the Middle East. He went to Iraq in 2003 and launched what was at that time the most violent insurgency in the region’s history.

Many name changes later, the late Zarqawi’s group was virtually defeated. In 2010, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi—the current emir—recruited former intelligence and military officers from Saddam Hussein’s Ba’athist regime, and together they created an ideology that merged Islamism and national socialism. Most of Saddam’s men were living in Syria, another Ba’athist state. After the US withdrew from Iraq in 2011, the Islamic state returned to all the areas from which it had been driven out.

When the Syrian uprising started in 2011, the Islamic State sent terrorists to establish the al-Nusra Front. It was headed by Abu Mohammed al-Julani, a former aide to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. My guess is that he’s a Saudi agent working against jihadist terrorism in the Middle East. His background is a complete mystery, and of all the major emirs who came to prominence after the Arab Spring of 2011, he’s the only one still alive.

In 2012, the Islamic State resumed the Iraq car-bombing campaign that had brought the country to the brink of all-out civil war. Syria and Iraq descended into hell. Both the Syrian Arab Army and the Iraqi Security Forces disintegrated. In Iraq, an entire division of 30,000 men fled 800 Islamic State terrorists. The Islamic State became the most heavily armed terrorist group in the world by capturing Syrian weapons depots and abandoned Iraqi equipment and bases.

It certainly wasn’t due to anything Obama or Hillary did.

History will show that ISIS was funded by Saudi Arabia, armed and manned through Turkey. Neither were opposed seriously by the United States. The US from 2011 thru 2016 did virtually nothing effective to stop the barbarity, the rapes, the murders, the enslavements and genocide against Christians and other minorities. History will also record that the prime factor in defeating and containing ISIS was the intervention of the Russians and the Iranians. Kurds fighting for their own autonomy in common regions were also effective opponents. It was a shameful period of American foreign policy.

"History will show that ISIS was funded by Saudi Arabia, armed and manned through Turkey."

...with the covert assistance of the Obama Administration.

Remember all those US train and equip missions, where the equipment then "was captured by", or "fell into the hands of" jihadis? Remember the Benghazi operation to run weapons from Qadaffi's old arsenals, through Turkey, into Syria? The mountains of TOW missiles, and convoys of HMMWVs, even M-1 tanks, that the jihadis sported - probably not just coincidence.

Muslim Brotherhood operatives were appointed by the Obama Administration to re-write US Law Enforcement policies and training materials concerning islam and jihad during this same time (jihad means the internal struggle to improve oneself - all that crap).

ISIS was originally funded by the Baath Party of Iraq with the aid of Syria, and turned loose on US troops in Iraq, using recruits obtained from Europe with the assistance of the Milan Cell....

It was one reason Syria recruited Capt. Yee, a US military muslim chaplain originally trained in Damascus, to help them get information about Gitmo... but then Yee got caught trying to get the information he gathered to Damascus and landed in jail.

So do you think Yee will begin his career as a Democrat politician on the local level or will he run for Congress?
