BILL MAHER ON SMOLLETT: VICTIMS SHOULDN’T ALWAYS BE BELIEVED, BUT SHOULD BE TAKEN ‘SERIOUSLY’

Bill Maher Slams Jussie Smollett As A Gift To Fox News (And A Lousy Actor)
Deadline ^ | Greg Evans / FR Posted by conservative98

“Fox News will dine out on this,” Maher said during the panel discussion on tonight’s Real Time with Bill Maher. Earlier in the show, during the opening monologue, Maher said, “Of course Fox News loves this story because it proves their stupid theory that racism is a hoax.” Smollett, Maher said, “wanted to be a victim without going through all the steps…” But Real Time guest Donna Brazile wasn’t having it. The former Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee and co-author of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Politics had a more straightforward theory about Smollett’s alleged false police report.

“He wanted a raise, he wanted a raise, he wanted a raise,” a furious Brazile said. “No one wants to be a victim of hate crimes, no one wants to be victim of being attacked and brutalized because you’re gay or black or Jewish. That’s bullsh*t. He wanted a pay raise and he wanted to bring attention to himself. I’m angry with him. I’m upset with him. He owes not only the city of Chicago an apology, but there are real, live victims out there today, and I refuse to shut up because he played a terrible game, and it’s painful.”

Not to be outdone, Maher got the final word on Smollett: “I saw Jussie’s interview with Robin Roberts,” the host said, “and he’s not a good actor.” (Excerpt) Read more at deadline.com ...

These guys will never get it.

People in many rural areas don’t even a damned thing about your concrete jungles and your high-tax/high-service bureaucracy. They want to be left alone and live. I don’t believe Trump would ever have won if it hadn’t been for obamacare, straddling people of lower incomes but high self-sufficiency with costs, penalties and bureaucratic burdens.

Confuse not "educated" with "credentialed".

Too often the "D" in PhD stands for dumbassery.

““We have a problem in America called spatial geographic inequality which means the most affluent and educated people are clustered in just a few cities,” he said.”

Along with all the welfare leeches, illegal immigrants, gang-bangers, druggies, and dregs of society. Yup, those $hithole cities have it all.

We have Chef Wolfgang Puck, they have Chef Boyardee. ..... The blue parts are having a big prosperity party while the big sea of red feels like their invitation got lost in the mail -- and they still use the mail.”

Good grief, what an elitist snob! And there is this notion on the left that "educated" and "smart" mean the same thing.

Bill Maher is a mental midget. I would suspect he spends more time in front of his dressing room mirror than in front of the camera desperately trying to convince himself of his delusions of grandeur.

Watch what happens when the taxpayers are no longer enough to pay for the urban underclass’s benefits. Have fun while your cities burn.

The last thing we want around here is to be anything like Bill Maher.
He can take all his evil uppity ilk and ideas and shove him up his “wherever the sun don’t shine”...but the SOB would probably like it.
He’s a evil, useless POS...always was, is and will forever be.

The fly-over states have become the passed-over states, that’s why red state voters are so pissed off. They don’t hate us, they want to be us.”

Uniformity-of-profit principle: In a free market, there is a tendency toward the establishment of a uniform rate of profit on capital invested in all the branches of industry. The free market is self-correcting. If higher rates of profit can be earned in a certain area of the country, capital will flow there.

The red states want more capital invested but they do not want to be like leftards. Those are two separate unrelated things.

One thing about leftist elites, they thrive on, and desperately need, the approval of their fellow elites. Elites are told what to think by the herd of elites. If you continue to travel with that herd, you have their permission to publicly look down your nose and ridicule anyone who is not in the herd . . . hence their perpetual air of superiority . . . at least in their own minds.

Quote from Rita Mae Brown: The reward for conformity is that everyone likes you but yourself.

. . . at least everyone in the herd still fakes liking you. The impression I get from Maher is that he spews his arrogance about what we should think and do, but he seems about as miserable as anybody I have ever seen. I think Bill hates who he has become.

Guess what, Bill . . . we folks in Red country don’t give a rat’s a$$ what you think. We don’t take orders from anybody about what we think. We don’t take orders from our social peers. We are not imprisoned by the need to make a lot of money. We don’t assume the misguided arrogance to criticize others for what makes them happy. We don’t live Maher’s version of the world because we have chosen not to live that way. For someone who fancies himself as so brilliant, Bill really has some stupid ideas.

Our nation has gotten really screwed up in terms of values because of the influence of social worms like Maher. Just imagine how unlivable our nation would be if folks in Red states actually signed on to Maher’s view of the world. Scary thought. Maher enjoys many of the benefits of his privileged life expressly BECAUSE most of us do not think like him. God help us if we ever do!!

If he only knew. But he doesn’t. I don’t think he wants to understand the people. He feels secure in his hole, afraid to get out. He is pitiful

Maher is saying, I think, that he is afraid of businesses getting a better offer from Red states.

See, that’s just the thing Bill. You’re not and we don’t.

Oh and for the record Bill, I’ll gladly compare my degrees to yours any day. I’ll gladly compare which one of us is more worldly, has lived in more countries and speaks more languages any day you like buddy.

Sorry, but you’re not “more sophisticated” than us. We simply don’t want to be like you.

I think one of the underlying issues is that maher and the rest of the coastal elites want to be European. (orchestra’s, fancy chefs, little sidewalk cafes where they can drink expensive coffee and look down their noses at the people who are not just like them)

We however want to be American. (Independent, making our own way, enjoying the beautiful world God has given us. Satisfied with home and family and good home cooking. Looking down on no one and expecting no one to look down on us (although we normally don’t care what other people think of us)).

We hate the elites because they try to force us to be like them. We do not want to be like them. We don’t even want to associate with them at all!! It bothers us that we hate them. We’d much rather be able to just ignore them entirely (but their insistence in interfering with our lives makes that impossible)
