The most immense and dangerous public scandal in American history is finally cracking open like a ripe pomegranate. The broad swath of the Trump-hating media that has participated in what has amounted to an unconstitutional attempt to overthrow the government are reduced to reporting the events and revelations of the scandal in which they have been complicit, in a po-faced ho-hum manner to impart to the misinformed public that this is as routine as stock market fluctuations or the burning of an American flag in Tehran.
For more than two years, the United States and the world have had two competing narratives: that an elected president of the United States was a Russian agent whom the Kremlin helped elect; and its rival narrative that senior officials of the Justice Department, FBI, CIA, and other national intelligence organizations had repeatedly lied under oath, misinformed federal officials, and meddled in partisan political matters illegally and unconstitutionally and had effectively tried to influence the outcome of a presidential election, and then undo its result by falsely propagating the first narrative. It is now obvious and indisputable that the second narrative is the correct one.

The media block is dissipating as the President’s real poll numbers have risen from 38% in 2017 to 52% in 2019. The ‘entire’ country is not too far off in waking up but at present, it seems more than half the country has woke up.
Conservatives are awake, safe to say the majority of independents are awake. It’s the fence-sitters in Democrat families that are losing trust.

The problem is the treachery is so huge that it’s hard to get your arms around it. The brazen lawlessness of what they did is so inconceivable that it can hide in plain sight. And of course it’s all enabled by a partisan media that won’t tell the real story of what has happened. I’ve felt from the beginning that the challenge for our side was going to be in framing this thing so the public can grasp it.

In 2016, Trump defeated Hillary… STUNNED the Swamp! So the Russia narrative was spun from whole cloth. But...
All this got me a’thinkin’... even with Grand Inquisitor Herr Mueller’s inability to find “Russia/Trump collusion” in over two years of “investigatin’” ... If Putin did indeed help Trump defeat Hillary... such IMHO, was not a hostile act, but one of peace and friendship. Which may explain why the Left and media (but I repeat myself), who always loved the murderous totalitarian Commie USSR (and grieves its demise to this day), now so viscerally hates Russia. So to conclude: if Putin did help Trump defeat Hillary... maybe we should send him thank you note!!!

As to the polls - the Democrats flipped 40 House seats just three months ago.
This essay could have been written 12 months ago.
