Conservative pundits have pointed out that Democrat elites and the so-called "mainstream" media were quick to accept actor Jussie Smollett's story of being assaulted by two Trump-supporters.
It is clear now that he lied. Smollett said his attackers were white and that he would have been believed without question if his assailants had been "Muslim," "Mexican," or "black." They were black.
When asked why he thinks this happened, Smollett answered, "I have gone hard against 45, I have gone hard against this administration." The mainstream media were all too happy to embrace any story that promotes their belief that President Trump and his supporters are racist and "homophobic."
However, Smollett and the leftist media have a broader focus for their hatred than this president. They hate America. The alleged Smollett attack was designed not merely to prove that this president and his supporters are bigots, but to demonstrate once again that America is a hateful place where racism and homophobia run rampant.
The president's slogan, "Make America Great Again," is interpreted as code language for "make America white again." His opposition to illegal immigration is depicted as a racist ploy to keep nonwhite people out of the country. They know that President Trump is not the originator of what they see as America's sordid legacy of hatred and bigotry, but in their minds, he is its latest and best representative.

Big problem for Smollett when the Postal Service investigatory unit got involved. That dragged his crime out of the Chicago jurisdiction into the national arena.

Those people are very, very good at their jobs. And they have no sense of humor about stunts like this. I believe they are a separate Agency so the FBI won’t have a lot of pull when it comes to whether or not to prosecute.

What he did was a hate crime, a mega-hate crime, because he attempted to foment hate between groups, which is larger than a single hate crime against an isolated individual.

ABC’s Today show with robin Roberts quick to support and to accuse interview with jesse before he was found to be a hoax did not hide his disdain for 25 with an agreeable and sympathetic robin at his side. I agree. The wife said asked last night what would’ve happened had 2 white guys been in the area when this went down. They would have been ruined, and possibly jailed (because stupidity) all because this jackass wanted to help Kamala pass some unneeded anti-lynching legislation.

Yes, I was just going to mention that. FINALLY. Pretty outrageous it took this long, cops without question knew it was a hoax the second they heard about it but I can imagine the pressure they got from the top democraps in that city to hold a lengthy investigation rather than get that putz to admit to in one sitting
There is a clue here. The only other person I know of who calls President Trump "45" is Maxine Waters. Waters is a self described friend of Smollett and his family. Smollett is clearly drunk on the "Peach foti fi" cool aid.
