Daily Show host Trevor Noah made some apt observations on his Daily Show Between The Scenes on Tuesday that the mainstream media would be wise to pay careful attention to. Noah was talking about the Jussie Smollett hate hoax and how so many people jumped on that story as true despite huge holes in his fable because it confirmed their biases.

The media doesn’t care about reality. They care about the story. They didn’t go into journalism to make money. They went into it to change the world. When the world doesn’t conform to their wishes, they make up things.
I predict a settlement in the 3 to 5 million dollar range, plus a public apology and attorney’s fees. The dollar amount will be kept confidential.
You have to ignore reality to have these biases in the first place. Where are all these hate crimes? A quick search shows that the vast majority of those touted by their authors as “documented examples” have no suspects, and most are the typical graffiti, nooses, flyers, anonymous threats, etc that always turn out to be hoaxes, or not hate at all, like “it’s OK to be white” or MAGA. Hate crimes are regularly proven to be fake, but very rarely confirmed. And members of the press are either infected by their own bias and living in a false reality, or afraid to say “the Emperor has no clothes”.
He just hired Mark Geragos.
That must be why they postponed the Nigerians Grand Jury appearance

Yes, but you’ll notice how on both the Smollett story, and the Covington story, one group was RIGHT.
They jumped on the Smollet story because they are fools.

Very possible, now multiply it by five additional parties and you’re looking at about $15 million exclusive of legal fees all told IMHO.

The way to stop the media from their gossip reporting... is this... sue for 250 mil!!! They will get the message after a few of these suits. Lawyers abet illegals.. there must be some good ones who will represent a person/s who is fed up with the baseless attacks and hits.
Hit them where it hurts and they will at least pause. I don’t know why Pres Trump hasn’t hit some of them with whatever he has available.

(He and everyone else who has a mic) has to repeat it’s hillary and obama.. not Trump... every time they associate Trump with the russians... in any way... say again “it’s hillary and obama, not Trump”... say as often as the left, the dems and the media .. and mccabe... try to tie Trump to this crap. Turn the listener to hillary and obama.. they repeat things so the listener will remember.. do the same on our side ... there are too many out there who have never associated BO and hillary with evil... tie them to is every day every hour!
You may be right regarding the WAPO. Then, let the merry-go-round begin as scores of publications and individuals get dragged into the defamation suit meat grinder.
