If an invasion of America by armies (”caravans”) of foreign freeloaders isn’t an emergency, I don’t know what is. I knew this was going to happen when the far left politicians started legalizing drugs for “recreational” use.

Will the Senate pass this? I doubt it. If it does it’s time to cross the Rubicon

If it comes to that, hopefully, Congress won’t be able to override that veto. It’s a certainty that they will try.
I guess the Dems in the House could pass such a Resolution, but I suspect Mitch will never let it see the light of day in the Senate.
This veto would be upheld. There are not 2/3 in either house to override a Dec of Emergency.
Now, had he vetoed the BUDGET, yes, that would have been overridden.
Doesn’t it have to get past a republican majority senate for him to need to veto it?

I don’t think there are 20 Republicans in the Senate who would vote to override. Or 60 or so Republicans who would do the same in the House.
