THE leader of the Yellow Vest movement that has wreaked havoc across Europe with violent protests that triggered the collapse of the French economy has declared he has militiamen ready to bring down the government following a shock meeting with the Italian coalition.
Cristophe Chalencon, one of the leaders of the Yellow Vest revolution, said France is on the brink of cvil war before he vowed to fight French President Emmanuel Macron over Paris austerity. In a gathering in Italy with anti-establishment party 5-Star Movement leader Luigi Di Maio and his right-hand man Alessandro Di Battista, the Frenchman raged: We have people, militiamen, ready to intervene because they also want to bring down the government. Today everything is calm, but we are on the brink of a civil war. I know that I risk a lot. I can get shot in the head at any moment. But I dont care. I defend my convictions. Because if I got shot in the head, the people - Macron would end up on the guillotine.
We have reached such a level of confrontation today that Macron would also fall if I fall. The people would break into the Elysée and destroy everything, him, his wife and all the group.
When pressed for more details on his military, Mr Chalencon added: Yes, militiamen. People who have withdrawn from the army and who are against the government.
Of course I know. It's disturbing. It is disturbing but you do not realise it. Macron is afraid. This is why I tell you that he is afraid.

GO YELLOW VESTS, now lets get some of this gumption here and take out the traitors in the FBI and the Justice system.
This interview was done by an Italian TV outlet and the quotes are not from the interview itself. They left the microphone on after the interview to get the explosive quotes from the man they were interviewing.
There’s a set-up for sensationalism by the Italian media outlet in an effort to discredit the Yellow Vests as radical nuts.
I haven’t read a single article about this phenomenon.
What is it they want?
no kidding they put us to shame that we allow these gov. agencies and criminal politicians to trample over us without mercy.
(psssst!) Pierre, Jean-Claude, I hear from very reliable sources that President Macron said, “Let them eat cake”.
They've been protesting against Macron since early November of last year.
They DON'T want globalism or the same French statism. They want change. They've been out in the streets in all of major French cities.
It is the nationalists vs the globalists... stage 1 of wwwiii
I know it’s a big deal but I’ve just been skimming articles.
Being against “statism” and “globalism” and wanting “change” is what I thought they were for. I was hoping someone could give me details about what they really want, but it seems there are no details, which means they can be turned in any number of directions. Which is dangerous.
They've been protesting against Macron since November. In fact, it has spread to other parts of Western Europe.

You don’t have a revolution till you have arrests.
I’m so proud of France.
Go Yellow Vests..!!
If Macron falls, there need to be inquiries as to why the U.S. Government got surprised again.
Was he serious, or just blowing smoke (he thought the microphones were off)? Is he right, or just boasting, or just dreaming?
I don't know who this guy is but it reminds me of when the media would pick some guy at random and call him the leader or a top leader of the team party. But there was no leadership per se, it was a true grass roots effort that didn't have some centralized boss managing it. I feel like the yellow vests are the same. So what makes this guy the leader?
Should say tea party, not team party.
Typical American males would gladly give up there freedom and become slaves just for a beer, a pat on the head, and a piece of a$$!
Je suis Gilet Jaune !
“What is it they want?”
There’s the rub. There really is no leader, at least there wasn’t. It was a spontaneous demonstration started by a tax on diesel, which are 70% of the cars there. The purpose of the tax was to curb “climate change.” The people have been taxed through the wazoo at the same time their money is being spent on immigrants rather than the people paying the taxes. Globalization has outsourced their jobs to cheaper labor markets at the same time it has made the urban centers the hubs for globalized finance, thus pricing the French out of homes near places where they could work. As the people moved further from urban centers they had to rely on their cars more to commute to the few remaining jobs.
As to what they want; everything. Less taxes, more services, more welfare. Ask 100 people what they want and you will get at least 50 different answers.
No matter who takes over the government, there will be no way to satisfy the wants of even half the people. The reason is, socialism leads to perpetual want.
