Fox 32 reporter Rafer Weigel said Saturday afternoon that Chicago police sources confirmed detectives were able to show that the Nigerian brothers who were “persons of interest” and questioned by police, bought the rope found around Jussie Smollett’s neck at Ace hardware.
Jussie Smollett alleged two white Trump supporters violently attacked him at 2 AM in the streets of Chicago when he was walking home from Subway with a sandwich in his hand.
Smollett told police the attackers were white and hurled homophobic and racial slurs at him while they beat him, poured bleach on him then put a noose around his neck.
Strangely, Mr. Smollett still had the rope around his neck when the police arrived to his apartment to take a report of the attack.
According to Rafer Weigel, the Nigerian brothers agreed to cooperate with police after the police threatened to charge them with battery.
“There are unconfirmed reports that Smollett paid the two brothers to perform the alleged scheme,” Rafer Weigel reported.

Fox could have a TV movie of the week on this, comedy-drama, if only Richard Pryor was alive to play the role, Gene Wilder could play his inept manager, and Zero Mostel the producer of Empire. LOL
They were trying to find racist white Trump-supporting thugs, so of course they pushed hard. However, it is to their credit that they went where the evidence took them.

That’s a pretty fair description of those who run Hollyweird today. Smollett doesn’t need rehab for that crew, only for the few regular rubes who still pay to see their filth.
From what I’ve read the motivation for the whole scam was to save his role as he was already being written off the show. I really hope you are right about this twit but the Hollywood hatred is so intense for Trump they won’t care that he fabricated the stunt. I don’t watch any of that crap but I see references to the blatant lies and personal attacks here all the time. The biggest stars call for the kidnapping and rape Baron and Trump’s grandchildren and no one bats an eye. I think the Oscars are coming up soon. Watch as much of that as you can stomach and I bet you might reconsider you thoughts on what Hollyweird thinks of this guy.
