BREAKING NEWS.
Fox 32 reporter Rafer Weigel said Saturday afternoon that Chicago police sources confirmed detectives were able to show that the Nigerian brothers who were persons of interest and questioned by police, bought the rope found around Jussie Smolletts neck at Ace hardware.
Jussie Smollett alleged two white Trump supporters violently attacked him at 2 AM in the streets of Chicago when he was walking home from Subway with a sandwich in his hand.
Smollett told police the attackers were white and hurled homophobic and racial slurs at him while they beat him, poured bleach on him then put a noose around his neck.
Strangely, Mr. Smollett still had the rope around his neck when the police arrived to his apartment to take a report of the attack.
According to Rafer Weigel, the Nigerian brothers agreed to cooperate with police after the police threatened to charge them with battery.
There are unconfirmed reports that Smollett paid the two brothers to perform the alleged scheme, Rafer Weigel reported.

Nigerian Bros Purchased the Rope Found Around Jussie Smolletts Neck From Ace Hardware Smollett May Have Paid Them to Perform Scheme
Who knows if this is true or not but does not look good for Smollett
Does he get charged with false report?
Maybe.
If so I bet he gets probation and his community service is promoting LGBT groups.
Great prices. Great service. For all of your hardware needs...apparently.
The noose is TIGHTENING, and not a MAGA person in sight..LOCK HIM UP!!!
...with the helpful partners in crime!
Kinda fits into the jingle, actually!
So? They were part of the fraud and fake attack.
I said earlier: They musta thought the cops were dumb.
Remember the “letter” Smollett allegedly had sent to him at Fox Studios, the one that said MAGA on top and looked like it was written in letters taken out of a magazine..apparently the two nigerian brothers gave the cops the magazine the letters came from..they are the ones that sent the letter
Nigerian redneck MAGA supporters must be stopped!
Well, at gun point by MAGA hat wearin’, straw chawin’, ill fitting bib overall wearin’, camel colored shoe, camo sock sportin’ red neck sun of a guns. No?
FYI to all, it’s not politically correct to call Nigerians “brothers”.
Someone else said it well: The demand for racism exceeds the supply.
They got away in a pickup truck that played “Dixie” on the horn.
What was he doin’ walkin’ around the streets of Chi-town alone at 2 am? Stupid. And not because of the Dukes of Hazard boys neither.
All the brothers need to do is call that Nigerian prince...
Nah. They thought the cops would cover for them.
They would in Nigeria, if they got a cut...

Is it too late for the Chicago PD to arrest two random white guys and claim they were the attackers, or has too much evidence been revealed?
Nigerian hoax redux.
Does he get charged with false report?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I was just talking with someone today about all the investigative resources that have been wasted on what looks like a hoax and false report. The police said he would be charged with filing a false report, if in fact he did .... my guess is, the more time they spend unraveling the tale JS has been telling, the more likely they are to do it. If I were a Chicago detective having to track down video from multiple locations, subpoena phone records (after JS wasn’t totally cooperative), search apartments, interview witnesses in the area & probably at JS’s work/gym, track the Nigerian bros then wait at the airport to take them into custody, track down purchase(s) at Ace, conduct multiple interviews, deal with the media, plus gosh knows what all else they’ve had to do/deal with and it all turned out to be a JS hoax? I’d be royally pissed.
