Understand. I have little use for lemmings and cheerleaders either. While Trump has been personally committed to the wall he hasn’t built a political coalition. It takes votes to win. Trump doesn’t have them ... so he loses.

Hmmm. Well it's always good to read the arguments that go against the echo chamber, there may be something in what you posted beyond a rational argument. Trump needs our input to keep going in the right direction. He doesn't need divisive rhetoric that mimics the media's false meme about losing the base.
Probably correct, but if the whole system collapses because the societal system and expenditures cannot be sustained, then we go the route of something more like Venezuela. Normalcy bias reigns as long as the food, toilet paper and other necessities are still readily available and people or the state can provide them. When that stops, everything changes. This legislation makes the US even more attractive to invade and less able to defend itself. If the rate of invasion now increases drastically and millions storm the border over a relatively short period, then real violence may break out.

There’s a lot of gobbledygook spewed on this thread LS. Doesn’t take a lot to get peoples pants in knots....as if our president doesn’t have enough enemies chopping at his heals, it appears we have our own snowflakes demanding he do what they want...when..how...and...in order to their preferences.
Trumps is in this for the long haul....he’s already down the road to what is to come and he’s not finished with the border nor the illegals.....
